Attracted by the excellent performance of M.B.B. Logistics, one of the biggest companies in Slubice/Frankfurt (Oder), on 12.02.2018 the Mayor of Frankfurt (Oder), Dr. Martin Wilke spent an instructive afternoon with us.
The CEO of M.B.B. Logistics Mr. Gao Song and his Vice-President Mrs. Barbara Muczyń, Director of Investor Center Ostbrandenburg Mr. Nüsslein joined the visit. During the visit, we discussed warehousing, fulfillment, future developments and the opening of a new return center in Frankfurt (Oder). Dr. Martin Wilke was impressed by the rapid development of M.B.B. Logistics on the Slubice site.
MBB Logistics build his own high-quality warehousing facilities in Poland and Germany, it offers warehousing and integrated logistics solutions for cross-border e-Commerce companies. Overseas logistics efficiency becomes the key to increasing consumer satisfaction, especially when currently Chinese e-Commerce companies are experiencing an increasing request for oversea warehouse. During the amazing tour inside our modern 20.000m? warehouse, which achieved ISO 9001 last year, we introduced the Order Operation Processes such as the storage, packaging and shipping to Dr. Martin Wilke and Mr. Nüsslein. Following an exciting presentation was made by the Logistics Solution Manager Martin Lüppker inside M.B.B.´s meeting room. Very interesting is that Slubice and Frankfurt (Oder) are located on the Silk Road to China. This opens up further potential for the future. We explained the ideal specific location of M.B.B. and exchange ideas for further co-operation.
Benefit from Industry 4.0 development, we recognized automation as a vital factor for increasing competitive advantage for us, therefore M.B.B. Logistics decided to invest 50 new robots in an area of 5.000m? in Apr.2018. M.B.B Logistics also plans to build a new customer service and return center on the German side in Frankfurt (Oder) in addition to the Polish warehouse. The property from about 6.000m2 was already bought in November 2017. It is ideally located on the A12 Highway and has a direct connection to the Polish Main Warehouse Complex. The construction will start in the second quarter of 2018 and Business will start approximately in spring 2019.
At the end, we exchanged experiences and discussed the opportunities for the growth of Frankfurt (Oder). Dr. Martin Wilke was particularly pleased on the project presentation and thinks of further synergy effects between Frankfurt (Oder) and Slubice. He assured that the German administration as well as the Investor Center Ostbrandenburg will provide M.B.B Logistics competent, fast and professional assistance in all investment related matters.
